Port Washington Landfill
The Port Washington Landfill Superfund Site is located in the northwestern portion of Nassau County, New York, in the Town of North Hempstead, and consists of a former municipal landfill operated for just over 9 years from March 1974 to July 1983 on a 53-acre area of the Port Washington Landfill known as the “L4” section. We represent the Port Washington Landfill Joint Defense Group consisting of Industrial Fasteners Corporation; National Grid, USA (KeySpan Corporation); Olympus Corporation; St. Francis Hospital; and Verizon New York Inc.
