Holly Alker joined The Justis Law Firm in 2021. Holly grew up in the small town of Dixon, Missouri before attending school at the University of Arkansas. During her undergraduate career in northwest Arkansas, Holly discovered a new appreciation for the outdoors and spending time in the natural world. She graduated with a degree in Biological Anthropology and a minor in Wildlife Habitat Management.
Before attending law school, Holly took some time to work in the third-wave coffee scene of Kansas City. Ultimately, she decided to pursue both her environmental interests and a legal career at the University of Kansas School of Law. While at KU, Holly was president of the school’s Environmental Law Society and an active member of First Generation Professionals. She also completed legal internships at both The Justis Law Firm and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Through these experiences, she knew she wanted to return to The Justis Law Firm when she graduated.
In her downtime, Holly enjoys hiking and gardening when the weather is nice, or trying out a new espresso and watching reality competition shows when the weather is less nice. She is an avid sneaker collector, often trying to get her hands on the newest limited release.
